Cambridge IGCSE Biology, topic 9

Transport in animals

Transport in animals looks at how blood is pumped around the body and what it carries. You study the heart, the blood vessels and the components of blood, and compare the single circulation of a fish with the double circulation of a mammal. You also look at how exercise affects the heart and the causes of coronary heart disease.
