Cambridge IGCSE Biology, topic 14
Coordination and response
Organisms detect changes in their surroundings and respond to them. This topic covers how the nervous system carries electrical impulses, how the eye detects light and how hormones and the chemical control of plant growth coordinate responses. It also covers homeostasis, the maintenance of a constant internal environment.
Subtopics
Work through them in order. Each one has notes, exam questions and flashcards, and a PDF of each.
